im freakin frustrated with friendster blog… ARGH!!

first of all… i wanna shout HAPPY BDAY YC!!! haha… we celebrated his bday in advance for him… and hope he like it.. =)

we didnt wanna go to the usual places tat we always went…so i suggested holland v! and yc was thrilled i tell u… haha! aiyo yc ah yc~ so i met up with jo and yc after wk… and kaiming came to pick us up… and off we go to holland v!

yc was excited to go holland v cos he had never been there… haha.. and i tink he really liked that place by seein his reaction… haha… like a little boy goin to the amusement park for the first time.. haha.. after lookin ard… we decided to settle down at la nonna, an italian restaurant (i tink its italian..)… and yy and keong joined us awhile later.. overall gd atmosphere… abit pricey though… the food was ok.. not fantastic… but more important is the company! haha.. i can foresee that we will be goin to holland v more often… although its abit far for us.. haha! ok.. here’s some pics to tell the story! =)

I JUS REPLACED ME DIVER’S CARD!!!! WOOHOO!

some might knw that i’ve lost my wallet quite awhile ago… but only jus recently then i go replace my diver’s card… and im so happy! yea~ and i gotta say im very impressed my PADI… the international diving association… they have very organised system and make things really convenient for their divers.. three cheers for PADI! haha! i miss diving! raahhhh!

jus now i went to tis yr’s HEY GORGEOUS website to take a look at the hunks and babes… and i saw tis gal’s biodata says she’s from St Margaret’s Sec Sch and she’s 16… and some others gals too… the sch section is sec sch…

i tot HEY GORGEOUS is for tertiary level only? so are they suppose to qualify at all? weird… BUT ANYWAY… i saw derek being norminated… haha! coolness.. the last time i saw he had 335 votes… one of the hot ones… not bad~ all the best derek!

ytd was a really special day… in some ways… i headed down to Heart of God Church at Paya Lebar with my colleague after wk… she invited me to the church that she’s attending for a service with special appearance, Nick Vujicic… 

i gotta admit i was a little nervous.. dunno wat to expect… cos this is my first time goin for service… and ppl who knw me might knw that im not very enthu abt christianity… i respect the religion.. but i still have my own believes… but i decided to go for this service cos of Nick Vujicic… here’s a short intro of him..

yes.. his born without limbs… him havin no limbs yet lives life to the fullest… always smiling and so positive… however he’s been through more that we can imagine… yet through great resilience, support from family and frens and a divine touch from above, he managed to over come his disabilities and lead a life that is most like any other normal human being… he’s now a motivational speaker… and he have been to countries all ard the world to inspire thousands to live life to its fullest despite odds…

the senior pastor and nick talked abt “givin by faith, not by sight” , “doin things beyond abilities” and many other related things… nick’s whole speech touched me deeply… and having been through all the rough times.. he words more convincing then anybody else…. i teared at one point.. cos he had said those exact things that had been in my mind all this while… disturbing me…

puttin religion aside… i understand totally abt his message that he wanted to convey.. jus that they find strength from Jesus.. cos Jesus will except u for who u are… as no one is born perfect… this whole speech from nick have kept me tinking the whole night…

im really glad that i attended that service… this whole experience is like a pleasant surprise to my life… im still not ready to make any commitments yet though… maybe it will come to me one day.. maybe it will not… i dunno… but one thing im sure is i will learn to accept myself.. for who i am…

i saw this couple the other day on LRT… the gal.. is the abt the same height as i am… or even taller..

today at wk… my colleague told me abt this show on discovery… Man vs Wild… and i should say im pretty amazed… yet disgusted… why is it so? let me show it to u…

some of u might have know abt this show… but well i jus knew abt it… and im pretty sure im gonna find some way to watch the show… to bad i dun subscribe cable channel or wat so ever… i love to watch documentaries but i can only watch them on CNA or Artcentral… 

the show is abit gross.. haha.. but like the guy said.. its part of the survival skills… btw this video is still considered ok alrdy… there’s much more gross ones… haha…

i will never pick up calls that shows unknown (which means private no.) on my screen! have been getting this idiotic calls from some rubbish company from malaysia or wat(like since last yr!)… tis female speakin chinese with an accent! sayin i’ve won some prize blah blah blah… im so irritated! u bloody hell knw that u are from some con company stupid woman..

so frens out there.. if u wanna call me with ur private no.. im so sorry.. i wouldnt pick up the call… hope u’ll understand…

COOL STUFF! i’ve featured their mv ‘mirotic’ in the previous blog entry… and i jus absolutely love their album cover! great merge of the different photos… the artistic directions is really unique… DBSK is one of the best boybands in korea currently… but…

i still love SHINHWA more!

they are still the ultimate legend of the korean boyband history.. not forgettin their outstanding vocals, dance moves and stage presence! haha.. whoo!

i wanna share tis video with all of u… i saw it on derek’s blog.. and i got really addicted to it… this gal(which i tink is damn cool) dances in the video with the song “mirotic” by a korean boyband DBSK… love it so much! she dances so well and the steps are the exact same to the original one!

im alrdy crazy abt DBSK’s song… after seeing tis gal dance.. make me even crazy and felt like dancin along! hahaha!

met up with fauzi and yasin today to chill and talk… and it was really great! havent seen them for damn long…

fauzi brought us to tis nice place at sentosa(which i forgot the name) to chill… its really beautiful there.. and very few ppl knw there’s a place like that at sentosa… whoo! sweet~ haha.. i really had a great time… have fun and lame ard.. haha..

a small update here! went for a charity run on 5 oct… RUN FOR HOPE at east coast park… and it went out great.. =)

after the run…

on the actual day then i realised i forgot to bring hm my sports shoe.. left it in office.. ended up runnin in dunks… and its damn heavy! almost died.. stupid me… lesson learnt: “never run in dunks!” haha..

after the run.. we hung ard and enjoyed the whole nice atmosphere.. then we saw tis adorable little caucasian runnin ard having fun with his dad.. so cute!

after that.. we walked from one side of east coast park to mcdonalds… rah! very far… felt so tired after the whole day.. but was a fulfillin!

27-28 Sept 2008 Batam Getaway!

this is our private van that fetch us to the hotel… suuuuper like celebrity.. haha! (actually its service provided by the hotel we were stayin in.. Holiday Inn!)

nice room for four!

after we settled down…. it took us some time to figure out our plan for the day.. haha.. one reason being the four of us are freakin in a lazy mood.. DAMN NUA! but after much teasing and foolly ard.. we decided to Nagoya for shoppin first…. then for massage! woo!

the first ting we saw when we reach Nagoya was A&W.. and that concludes our lunch for the day! eg-cited!!

after a satisfying meal… we went for shoppin! but actually the shoppin centre dun really have items that attract us… seriously! super sian… when finally yy and i found someting to buy (which are super cheap tshirts.. and are quite nice too) the both of us like got possessed.. jus kept concentratin on our shoppin… then the boys were jus left out.. haha! then they went to entertain themselves… which resulted in the pics above! tsk tsk tsk… haha!

after our shoppin.. we went to supermarket to get some snacks… the four of us jus had lots of fun the whole time… lots of laughter! haha!

when yy and i saw the above.. we were amazed.. this was the way they display their frozen food.. haha!!

next we headed down to KTM to check out spa services… and the place was really nice.. its jus by the sea.. and its resort style… the spa is even nicer! BUT! we didnt book the spa there cos no more suitable timeslot anymore… see! never do homework… next time if u are plannin to do anyting durin ur overseas trip always be prepared.. do ur homework! haha..

we are left with no choice but to head back to our hotel to check out the spa they have there.. Holiday Inn also have a beautiful spa place… but KTM one cheaper… haha.. 

this two cute frens jus live in their own world when me and augustine were enquirin abt the spa services back at our hotel… haha! look so happy leh… especially keong! haha!

after we have settled the spa treatment… and on the way back to the lobby… the three of them got excited abt the pingpong table(the resort provides all this facilities for their guests!).. and started their own match.. as for me?

we then went back to our room to get some rest… and as usual with keong and augustine ard.. the whole place is full of laughter.. dun believe? see below..

another interestin ting abt this trip would be the currency.. cos rupiah are in damn huge numbers… seems like we are millionaires man… damn shiok… haha! you should see when we are payin the bills… as if we dunno how to count.. still need the locals to help us with the money..

for dinner.. we went to a seaside kampong place for seafood! yum! cheap and taste not bad too… jus that we got lots of mosquito bites.. after that we went back to shower and it spa time!

we took the traditional indonesian full body massage… and its damn relaxin… we were in separate rooms.. but once it all started… there wasnt a single sound from the four of us… haha..

after the spa.. we had some ginger tea.. chat for awhile then went back for a good night rest!

next mornin.. we woke up… went down to have a fulfillin breakfast… and its swimmin time!

had great fun at the pool! do silly tings.. play some stupid games.. haha! and of cos sun tannin!

after the fun at the pool.. went back to shower… pack up our stuff and off we go! but before that we take a pic at the beautiful spa place!

before i end off.. i did a collage of keong and augustine… both of them doin silly stuff.. and they are damn hilarious! haha! im so sorry but i jus cant help it and i post tis collage up… haha! you two are the ultimate 开心果… made me and yy laugh like crazy.. (i tink they are gonna kill me for postin tis collage! opps!)

and also yy.. i appreciate her company so much… love her to bits! =)

lets have our next trip soon… hopefully it will be a dive trip pls! haha..

Hari Raya to all malay frens!!!!

and its holidays for me! and of cos the rest of s’pore.. haha.. met up with sherlynn grace and their boyfriends for a drink at IndoChine.. and i had a great time.. =) talked abt silly things that we did during poly (which i tink are damn funny thinkin back)… and lots of other stuff… love their company… had lots of fun.. we’ll meet up more often ya!! loves!
